We had a fun Thursday at the Elementary School and celebrated the end of March is Reading month with a beach day and movies! What a great way to kick off our start to Spring Break! We hope everyone has a happy and safe Spring Break 2024 and we look forward to seeing all of our students back at school on April 2nd!

Construction Technology Academy: June 18-20, 2024; 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily; Petoskey High School Building Trades Class; 6th-10th graders; $100
Lineworker Training Academy: June 18-20, 2024 ; 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily; Boyne City Middle School and training yard; 8-11th graders; $100.
Public Safety Academy: June 18-20, 2024 ; 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily; Harbor Springs High School; 8-11th graders; $100.
Welding Academy: Two, three-day camps (choose one) June 18-20 or June 25-27, 2024; 9:00 am- 2:00 pm daily; East Jordan High School; 8th-11th graders; $150.

Together we can do SO MUCH!!! Last month students at Boyne City Elementary school brought in coins to donate for heart health month. Together they raised $550!!! Wow! We will be donating the money to the American Heart Association to help raise awareness of congenital birth defects. Way to go Ramblers!!!! #boynepride #boyneinspires #boynecares

Don't forget about our FREE Winter event for BCES Families! Please join us for a fun family event at the PAC (BCHS Auditorium) this Friday February 23, at 6pm. This event includes free pizza and a showing of the movie WISH. Students must be accompanied by their parents at all times. We hope to see you there!
During the recent school assembly, BCES 4th Grade students were transported back in time as presenters delved into the rich history of Fort Michillimackinaw. The assembly provided a captivating glimpse into the past through a variety of artifacts and displays. Students had the opportunity to observe authentic clothing worn during the era, gaining insight into the daily lives of settlers and indigenous peoples alike. Additionally, the presenters highlighted the significance of the French fur trade, showcasing items used in trading and emphasizing its impact on the region's economy and cultural exchange. Students also learned about Native American animal trapping and trading techniques, deepening their understanding of the interconnectedness of different communities during this period. Overall, the assembly served as an engaging educational experience, bringing history to life.
