BCES is super excited to announce the Rambler Cup Recipient this week- 1st Grader Lillian Thornton from Mrs. Bacon's class! This is our way to celebrate when a student is trying their best to be Respectful, Responsible, Caring, Safe, and Kind with a prideful love for school. When a student is awarded the Rambler Cup, they take it home for the week and their name will be engraved on it at the end of the school year. #boynepride #boyneinspires #boynecares

Today, our 6th and 8th grade students released salmon into the Boyne River as the culminating experience of the Salmon in the Classroom program. Over the past months, they’ve raised the salmon from eggs, learning to care for them and gaining a deeper understanding of aquatic ecosystems. Now, they send them off, hopeful for their journey as part of our local environment. A heartfelt thank you to our incredible community partners who joined us for a meaningful day of hands-on learning: Brian Kozminski & Adam Kennedy – Macroinvertebrates, Friends of the Boyne River Taylor Skiles – Department of Natural Resources Wade Foster – Native Plants Jack Gorno & Chad Baldwin – Conservation Officer Eli Baker - Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council – Invasive Species #Boynepride #Boyneinspires

GREAT job to so many of our Industrial Arts students who had a great showing at last week's Regional MITES competition in Mackinaw City. 15 out of 16 projects were able to advance to the State competition, with 8 of these projects taking 1st place overall in their category! The students whose projects made it to the state competition this upcoming week are Garrison Sudderth, Alizebeth Lewis, Will Minnaar, Connor Uy, Wyatt Woodall, Ricky Bristol, Landon Hamilton, Tommy Dobbelaer, Joey Dobbelaer, Deegan Anthony, and Jonathan Shepherd. Great job to our students and first year staff member, Mr. Chad Longstreet, for his leadership! #boynepride #boyneinspires
