Mr. Murlin Green’s Drone Technology class works on the precise skills necessary to fly drones and uses outdoor courses when the weather is nice. The class moves into the gymnasium when the weather doesn’t cooperate. Students in this class work on both the skills of flying the drones and the knowledge to get certification. #BoynePride

BCMS students Erin, Ben, & Josh did an outstanding job presenting ‘Rethink Your Drink’ to around 800 students this Monday and Tuesday. They each worked very hard for about five hours, showing great initiative and teamwork skills. The elementary school was a particular challenge as every student wanted to enter the water bottle raffle, try the flavored waters, and get stickers. I could not have pulled this off without their help, and the support of our parapro, meal service and custodial teams!

The Rambler Fieldhouse is a beautiful resource for our entire community. The track portion is open to any adult in Boyne City from 6:30-8:00 each weekday morning and evening school is in session. Adults and high school-aged students may use the open track unsupervised. Other students must be actively supervised by a parent/guardian. The Fieldhouse will be closed if school is canceled for weather concerns or a holiday. The community may use the basketball courts and weight room, but these must be reserved in advance through the athletic department. BCPS is thankful for the renovations and new construction approved by voters in 2020. These state-of-the-art facilities create opportunities for our Ramblers to learn and grow!
