This is our way to celebrate when a student is trying their best to be Respectful, Responsible, Caring, Safe, and Kind with a prideful love for school. Boyne City Elementary School extends our deepest gratitude to Eta Nu for the incredibly generous "Dress for Chill" yesterday! Those ladies worked so hard outfitting 157 students at BCES with essential winter gear. This is a massive help, ensuring our students will stay warm and safe throughout the cold months ahead. We also want to thank Pat O'Brien for his continued and generous financial support to help keep this program going. Thank you to the amazing Boyne City Fire Department for visiting our 1st Grade classes to teach them all about fire safety. Our students learned essential life-saving skills like "stop, drop, and roll," how to create a family escape plan, and the importance of not playing with fire. The firefighters who dedicate their time to these lessons make a huge impact on community safety. We appreciate you BCFD! #boynecares #boyneinspires

Yesterday's last day of school at BCES was filled with many emotions. We recognized student accomplishments, said goodbye to good friends and celebrated the beginning of summer break! Our 4th Grade students traveled near and far over the last few days on their final field trips as BCES students. That's a wrap!!! BCES 3rd Grade Field Day yesterday was our last one of the school year. It may have been a little cloudy but the day and all of the fun activities did not disappoint! Thank you to Mr. McShane for creating such amazing end of year experiences for our kiddos and to Mrs. Zucker and Mr. Karlosky for helping to make sure the events ran smoothly. #boyneinspires

The BCES 2nd Grade classes took a field trip to City Hall today.
