We had the best time at our BCES Trunk n' Read event on Saturday. Sunshine and smiles mixed with tricks and treats made for the absolute best autumn morning! Congrats to Mrs. Flynn who took home the coveted 1st place trophy for her Alice In Wonderland themed trunk! We would like to graciously thank the Boyne City Police Department, the Kiwanis Club, the Book Mobile, the Girl Scouts, the Boosters, NHS, the Great Start Collaborative & Family Coalition, Katie Doran and Samantha McKenney for organizing amazing donations from Family Fare, Lake Area Collison and Provisions and our amazing staff and their families. BCES is super excited to announce the Rambler Cup Recipient this week- 4th Grader Maverick Vilitski from Mrs. Stanek's class! This is our way to celebrate when a student is trying their best to be Respectful, Responsible, Caring, Safe, and Kind with a prideful love for school. When a student is awarded the Rambler Cup, they take it home for the week and their name will be engraved on it at the end of the school year. #boynepride #boyneinspires #boynecares

Halloween is just around the corner so it seemed fitting for our First Grade students to be busy studying all about the world of bats last Friday!! #boynepride #boyneinspires

Fourth grade students had an amazing field trip to Crooked Tree Arts Center last Friday where they toured the exhibit Identity Maps: Juried Photography and Michigan Water Color Society. After the tour our young artists made Cyanotype Photograms. Students learned about how camera-less photographs are made and then made their own photogram using the cyanotype "sun printing" process. #boynepride #boyneinspires
