Our next recipient to celebrate is: Julie Sisson! Julie is our middle school counselor serving students in grades 5-8. Her impact goes far beyond the traditional counselor roles. She actively connects students to resources, helps develop student leaders, and finds special ways to make community connections. Thank you, Julie, for going above and beyond for our Rambler students! We're thrilled to share that four terrific BCMS students from our 7th/8th grade Innovations class participated in the MACUL Student Technology Showcase at the Capitol in Lansing on December 6th! 🚀 These students were chosen for their outstanding work in the Innovations class, where they explore STEM topics through hands-on experiences, including the use of a 3D printer. What makes our Innovations class extra special? We've teamed up with "Makers Making Change," connecting our students and their 3D printers with people around the world who need assistive devices. 🌍♿️ During the showcase, our students had the honor of displaying their projects, catching the attention of state senators and representatives. A huge shoutout to State Representative Timmy Beson, who took our students on an exclusive tour of the Capitol, even stepping onto the House Floor! 🏛️ We're incredibly proud of our BCPS students for representing us with excellence, learning a lot, and having a ton of fun along the way. 🎉👏 Thank you to everyone who supports our commitment to innovation and community engagement! 🚀📚 #boyneinspires #maculsts
