Boyne City High School is pleased to announce our next Fine Arts Spotlight students: Norah Frasz and Ruby Richards! These two amazing individuals deserve our recognition as they are in their final weeks here at BCHS! #boynepride

Now that that sun is trying to peek into the Spring air, please remember that there are NO WHEELS allowed on the track at BCHS. This includes strollers, bikes, skateboards, rollerblades, wagons and wheelchairs. Wheels can easily damage the track surface.

This is the week! Come out to enjoy the BCMS production of Music Man! Our middle school students have been working so hard.

The Early Learners had a fun visit this week from GFL. The students have been learning about garbage and recycling. This was a fun way to wrap up that unit. The students had a great time getting to see the garbage truck and learn more about the process. #BOYNEPRIDE #BOYNECARES #BOYNEINSPIRES

The High School Building Trades Program will host an Open House on May 1st from 4:30 to 5:30 PM to showcase the progress of the new schoolhouse at 541 Maddy Lane. We hope to see you there!

Boyne City High School is proud to be the only school in Charlevoix County to offer the Early College (5th Year) program for our students. Today, our cohort from our SD125 class, instructed by Mrs. Amy Hertel, took a field trip to North Central Michigan College. This cohort consists of 14 current sophomores at BCHS who have been accepted into the program.
What is Early College? This is a program where a student receives both a high school diploma and a North Central Associate Degree at the end of student's
5th year (13th grade).

This morning, the Kiwanis Club of Boyne City hosted a truly inspiring event with its annual Eddie Essay Breakfast and Awards Ceremony. Fifth-grade students from Boyne City, Boyne Falls, and Concord Academy participated by writing essays back in January about a charity that holds personal meaning to them.
The Kiwanis board had the special task of reading each heartfelt essay, selecting winners, and awarding donations to the charities chosen by the students. This event is a beautiful reminder of the power of compassion, giving back, and the impact young voices can make in our community.
A huge thank you to the Kiwanis Club of Boyne City for continuing this tradition and for your generosity!
Congratulations to the following Boyne City Middle School winners and their selected charities:
Stella Willis – Boyne District Library ($225 school award)
Lainey Lockman – Northern Michigan Cancer Crusaders ($150 honorable mention)
Chloe Falls – Kiersten's Ride ($150 honorable mention)
Fiona Blanford – Women’s Resource Center ($150 honorable mention)
Carter Dobbins – Challenge Mountain ($400 Bronze Award)
Mason Riel – Northern Michigan Cancer Crusaders ($500 Silver Award)
Cord Reinhardt – Challenge Mountain ($1000 Gold Award)
Well done to all the students who participated—you are making a difference!

Small hands change the world! Happy Earth Day! Each class celebrated in their own way, but one thing is for sure, we had fun while learning how to care for the Earth. #BOYNEPRIDE #BOYNECARES #BOYNEINSPIRES

It's School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! Let's celebrate our 12 superheroes behind the wheel and Transportation Director, Lea Howie! We celebrate you today and every day! #boynepride

If you have a chance this week stop into Family Fare to check out our 4th grade students’ paper bag poetry about Earth Day. Their wondrous words are decorating Family Fare’s bags. When checking out and you’re asked paper or plastic…Make sure to say paper for a chance to enjoy a fun poem from one of our BCES 4th grade students. Happy Earth Day! #boyneinspires #boynecares #boynepride

BCES is super excited to announce the Rambler Cup Recipient this week- 4th Grader Ella Yang from Mrs. Stanek's class! This is our way to celebrate when a student is trying their best to be Respectful, Responsible, Caring, Safe, and Kind with a prideful love for school. When a student is awarded the Rambler Cup, they take it home for the week and their name will be engraved on it at the end of the school year. #boynepride #boyneinspires #boynecares

Thank you to Mrs. Hicks 2nd Grade restaurant! Today's breakfast was delicious and the service was excellent!!

This morning before school, 30 high school juniors and seniors met with our 6th grade team to begin preparing for their role as camp counselors this May. This meaningful and long-standing tradition has been part of BCPS for over 30 years. Nearly all of these future counselors once experienced camp themselves as 6th graders, and now they have the chance to give back. It’s an incredible opportunity for them to mentor and support our current students during a truly unforgettable experience. #Boynepride #Boynecares

Our Varsity Spring Sports Captains met today in the Rambler Room with Athletic Director Matt Windle for a focused conversation on leadership, core values, and what it means to be "Boyne Tough."
These student-athletes are setting the tone for their teams—on and off the field—by building trust, supporting each other, and holding strong to the standards of our programs.
