The Class of 2028 has been a fantastic addition to BCHS and is off to a great start to the 2024-2025 school year! #boynepride

BCPS FAMILIES! Please save the numbers below in your phone contacts. This SMS texting format is another avenue our athletic department and coaches will have to contact you about important team/athletics information.

Monte Eaton, who’s a sophomore this fall, won the season championship race at Elmira speedway Saturday night! He’s been working all summer on trying to take first. He started in the back of his class and worked his way past every driver, including his dad, to place first. It was SUPER exciting!
PC: small town photography.

Tonight's the night! Come to the football field for some classic football fun, and an amazing cookout!

Plan on making dinner plans with BC Pizza on September 18th! #boynetough

BCPS would like to give a huge shoutout to Eve Willoughby, who has earned her MI-YDA Credential through the state of Michigan. Eve is a member of the Boyne City High School Future Educator Academy CTE program and is a 2024 Petoskey High School graduate.
To earn this credential, Eve has spent over 480 professional hours working with youth, both in and out of school-time settings. The final step included in this credential was a culminating 1 hour formal observation from an outside evaluator based on the SEL-PQA rubric. The Social & Emotional Learning Program Quality Assessment (SEL PQA) is a tool used in programs serving children in Grades K-12. It measures research-identified best practices that support programs to be safe, supportive, interactive and engaging for youth.
Eve plans to finish her Early College program through North Central Michigan College next year while continuing to pursue a degree in the field of education.
5th graders …SAVE THE DATE!

Our Rambler Recognition Ceremony on Wednesday was a great way to end the year. We are so proud of all of the BCES students for being Respectful, Responsible, Caring, Safe, and Kind with a prideful love for school. Congratulations again to all of our Caring Catcher and Rambler Cup winners!! #boynepride #boyneinspires #boynecares

Hands down Our BIGGEST Award on the last day of school at the BCES was for Mr. Fred! After 18 years of amazing service at Boyne City Public Schools Mr. Fred decided to retire to spend time with his family, pursue his hobbies, and well, to just relax. Before he left we wanted to make sure that he knew how much his "work family" loved and appreciated him. Among other gifts, students showered him with homemade thank you and goodbye cards and he was given a great big basket of all the things he's been oh so good at helping to open for the kiddos in the cafeteria all these years. Thank you and we will miss you dearly every day Mr. Fred! Congrats on your retirement and don't forget to stop in from time to time for a visit, there will always be somebody who needs your help opening a milk:) #boynepride #boyneinspires #boynecares
