Today our High School band had the privilege of playing at the State Capitol in Lansing as they were awarded a performance spot! The group will also tour the capitol, stay overnight, and take part in some other educational tours. Thank you to the BC Booster Foundation for providing funding for this trip! #boynepride

Congratulations, Braydin!

Today, our 6th and 8th grade students released salmon into the Boyne River as the culminating experience of the Salmon in the Classroom program. Over the past months, they’ve raised the salmon from eggs, learning to care for them and gaining a deeper understanding of aquatic ecosystems. Now, they send them off, hopeful for their journey as part of our local environment.
A heartfelt thank you to our incredible community partners who joined us for a meaningful day of hands-on learning:
Brian Kozminski & Adam Kennedy – Macroinvertebrates, Friends of the Boyne River
Taylor Skiles – Department of Natural Resources
Wade Foster – Native Plants
Jack Gorno & Chad Baldwin – Conservation Officer
Eli Baker - Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council – Invasive Species

Thank you for being a leader.

She spent time doing organizational tasks but mostly, offered to work with younger MS students on their playing skills. The students have GREATLY enjoyed working with Lynsey and their playing abilities have easily doubled! She is a great student in Band but also loves helping others and is quite good at it.
