Our Elementary K-3 Holiday Concerts were both adorable and outstanding as our little stars shined brightly on stage this year. BCES is super excited to announce the Rambler Cup Recipient this week- 2nd Grader Milo Dzwik from Mrs. Hick's class! This is our way to celebrate when a student is trying their best to be Respectful, Responsible, Caring, Safe, and Kind with a prideful love for school. When a student is awarded the Rambler Cup, they take it home for the week and their name will be engraved on it at the end of the school year. #boynepride #boyneinspires #boynecares

The BCHS Quiz Bowl team competed in their second tournament of the year on Friday at NCMC. The team brought home their first trophy in several years, with the Boyne City A Team of Will Minnaar, Ben Ivie, Cameron Little, and Abe Rykse finishing second place overall, falling to the Petoskey A Team in the final match. The Boyne City B team of Gabe Houser, Josie LaCombe, Aleli Barrera-Bardeguez, and Ava Ingalls also put forth a valiant effort against some tough competition. #boynepride

Congratulations to Olivia Dobbins, Benjamin Ivie, Will Minnaar, Ruby Richards, and Whitney Root on an outstanding performance yesterday with the MSBOA District 2, High School Honors Band! The performance was one of the best Honors Band performances ever. Your great character and musical skills were on display all weekend long. Thanks for representing Boyne City with pride!

BCMS Student Council is running their annual Community Christmas drive. Looking for can and non-perishable food items as well as puzzles for ages 2-18. Items can be brought to Boyne City Middle School. Collecting items now through December 9th.

The BCES is thankful for this wonderful young lady and her amazing artwork. Cadie Pung was the ES office aide last year. After graduation from Boyne City High School this past May, she's still involved with our school, not only as a cheer coach but a part time artist. Cadie visits us once a month to draw a new and adorable holiday themed white board for the front office. #boynepride #boyneinspires #boynecares

This #GivingTuesday, Boyne City Middle School extends heartfelt thanks to our amazing community sponsors who make the BCMS Winter Gear Program a reality. Thanks to the growing generosity of our supporters each year, we’re able to provide more middle school students in need with warm winter gear. A special shout-out to Meijer, Inc. and the Christ Child Society of Northern Michigan for their incredible support of this program since its launch in 2022. Your commitment to giving back for three years running has been instrumental in our success! We’re also deeply grateful to Julie Joles and Boyne Eta Nu for rallying the community to raise additional funds. Their efforts brought in generous contributions from The Doll-Loesel Foundation, Korthase Flinn, Daifuku, and Industrial Magnetics, Inc. This extension of Eta Nu’s philanthropic mission, including their leadership of the Dress For Chill program, has helped bring new winter outerwear to children in Boyne City Elementary, Head Start, and preschool programs. Congratulations to our November Students of the Month at BCHS! 9th Grade Myra Guzniczak: Myra has been amazing at helping with after school events this month, she volunteered her own time to help do two catering events. At the BMB dinner, she was a rockstar; helping to take care of guests and help her team get a very big job done. 10th Grade Toby Yang: Toby is a Student I wish I could MOLD! He never takes a break I mean everywhere I see him he is doing some type of homework. His concentration is amazing. I see him in the hallway, the cafeteria, my classroom, I mean he is always working on something. Personally you could not ask for a nicer young man. Toby's dedication and commitment to absolutely everything he does makes him a great candidate for student of the month. I have never seen a student working so hard to maintain his GPA. He also wrestles and gives 100% everyday. He is a leader in the classroom and I wish more students had his drive to be successful! 11th Grade Brayden Dunlop: I nominated Brayden last month because of his great start to the school year. He continues to maintain all A's and B's, which is a big academic improvement for him. He also has made great improvement in his attendance this year. In general, Brayden has a very positive attitude. He brightens many people's day with his smile and is quick to say "hi" and give a fist bump in the hallway. 12th Grade Thomus Buning: Thomus has made some amazing academic gains! He is kind and helpful and can be found holding the doors open for others most mornings. He has stepped right up to help run the Java Joy coffee business and has even researched ways to recycle our coffee grounds and the empty pods. He's also taken initiative to learn our Square sales system on his own! I am very proud of the young man he has become. #boynepride

4th Grade students have been working hard on their Veteran's Day projects throughout the month. Today they were able to share their families stories and bring in family members to speak about their experience serving in our military.
