Boyne City High School is proud to congratulate senior Benjamin Ivie, who was accepted into the All-State Honors Symphony Orchestra! He will be traveling to Grand Rapids in January for rehearsals and performance at the Michigan Music Conference.
Each year, nearly 3000 students throughout Michigan audition to be a part of the all-state band, where students are eventually selected to perform together. Students were judged after participating in a rigorous 'blind' audition back in October.
Ben has been accepted into the All-State Symphony Orchestra as a French Horn player, joining nearly 100 other students from around the state.
